Olio di Puglia PGI is made from selected olives, milled quickly and at very low temperatures. An oil with a green color with golden hues, irrepressible in the aromas of fresh grass, artichoke and tomato.

Thanks to these aromas and its medium-intense flavour, it is the ideal extra virgin olive oil to pair with cooked vegetables, fish with a more intense flavour and shellfish, white meats, tartare, carpaccio, and for marinating fine cuts of meat.

PUGLIA IGP extra virgin olive oil offers the utmost certainty in terms of authenticity. Each bottle is guaranteed by the consortium, verifying the entire production chain, rigorously made in PUGLIA, from the plant to the packaging.
The oil is also subjected to chemical and sensory tests (tasting by commissions recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural Policies) to check complete compliance with the specifications. PUGLIA IGP oil also means typicality and a strong link with the territory, certified by the community trademark IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) and by strict production specifications.

The olive varieties used by the Guglielmi family to produce extra virgin olive oil are exclusively native and grown in the fields owned by the family. This ensures a high quality and uniqueness of the product, reflecting the terroir and local traditions. Among the varieties grown we find some of the most appreciated, such as Coratina and Peranzana. Each of these varieties gives distinctive characteristics in terms of flavor and aroma, resulting in a final product of exceptional quality and authenticity.

Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants found in olives harvested at the right stage of ripeness. They are important for human health as they contribute to the reduction of cardiovascular disease, can have beneficial effects on brain health and support digestive health. Coratina extra virgin olive oil has a high number of polyphenols. It is precisely these compounds that also give that characteristic pungent taste, a distinctive sign of high-quality oils.

Extra virgin olive oil should be stored in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. It is recommended to keep it in a tightly closed bottle to preserve its freshness.
