Olio Guglielmi’s Innovations at FOODEX JAPAN 2025

This year, Olio Guglielmi is bringing an exclusive selection of its extra virgin olive oils to Japan, with a special focus on the new Le Monocultivar collection.
This line embodies the essence of our homeland, Puglia, enhancing native olive varieties through oils with a unique sensory profile.

Le Monocultivar: A Journey Through Puglia

The “Le Monocultivar” line is an invitation to discover Puglia through its three most emblematic olive varieties: Coratina, Peranzana, and Ogliarola.
Each variety is masterfully represented, not only through its intense and distinctive flavors but also with vivid illustrations on the packaging. These images pay homage to the Apuglian landscapes from which each cultivar originates, symbolizing the diverse territorial nuances of the region.

Olio Guglielmi’s Le Monocultivar line highlights the unique characteristics of three distinctive olive varieties:

  • Coratina: bold and intense flavor, with bitter and spicy notes.
  • Peranzana: well-balanced and delicate, with hints of almond and artichoke.
  • Ogliarola: morbida e fruttata, con una dolcezza naturale.

These oils tell the story of our land through a **refined and contemporary design**, crafted to enhance both the **elegance and quality** of the product. The “Le Monocultivar” project is centered around the **superior quality** of our olive oil. These three exquisite oils are the result of an **extraction process carried out within two hours of harvesting**, which takes place in the early days of October. This method, known as **“early harvest”**, is essential to **preserve the oil’s aromatic integrity**, ensuring that each bottle captures the **freshness and harmony of freshly picked olives**.

The annual production of **Le Monocultivar** is intentionally limited. This approach ensures **strict quality control** and a focus on **excellence over quantity**.

**Where to Find Us at FOODEX JAPAN 2025**

Japan represents a highly attractive market for **high-quality extra virgin olive oil**. Japanese consumers are particularly attentive to **product origin, traceability, and nutritional properties**, prioritizing authenticity and transparency in their choices. The growing demand for **healthy and authentic products** has made **EVOO** an increasingly valued ingredient in **Japanese cuisine**, from traditional dishes to fusion and gourmet creations.
